Demonstrators condemn 'outdated' hunt practice
Anti-hunt demonstrators have condemned today's annual St Stephen's Day Hunt as a cruel and outdated practice.
Badgerwatch Ireland has planned a peaceful protest to coincide with the hunt at Tramore in Waterford.
National co-ordinator Bernie Barrett said the hunt amounts to cruelty to animals and said they wanted to raise public awareness about what happens at hunts.
A similar protest is due to take place at the hunt in Meath.
