UUP calls for end to UDA feud
The Ulster Unionist Party has urged rival factions within the Ulster Defence Association to end their increasingly violent feud and avoid further bloodshed over the Christmas period.
The call followed a gun attack on a 35-year-old man in the Woodstock area of east Belfast last night.
The man was shot in the neck and police have already said they believe the shooting was linked to the ongoing feud.
