Garda appeal to find missing man

Gardaí in Westmeath are seeking assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 48-year-old man who went missing yesterday.

Brian Simpson from Sherwood Park, Mullingar Co Westmeath was last seen in Mullingar at 2.45am yesterday.

He is described as 6ft 2ins in height, of strong build with short brown hair and blue eyes. He is originally from Enniskillen and has a Northern accent.

When last seen he was wearing a purple polo shirt, blue jeans and tan coloured desert boots.
