Ahern has failed to protect fishing in the west, say Labour

The Minister for the Marine Dermot Ahern has failed to secure a satisfactory deal from the European fishing industry, according to the Labour party.

Deputy Tommy Broughan, spokesperson for Marine, does however concede that Minister Ahern did secure a viable fishing deal for the east coast.
