Adams: Special Branch loyalists targeted SF leaders
Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams was once targeted by loyalists controlled by police special branch and British military intelligence, he claimed today.
Martin McGuinness, the party’s chief negotiator and the Provisional IRA’s former No 2 in Derry was also under paramilitary surveillance during the 1980s – but both were never warned, he insisted.
