A teenager was recovering in hospital today after he was shot in both ankles in a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.

A teenager was recovering in hospital today after he was shot in both ankles in a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.

The 18-year-old man was found in the garden of a house in Norglen Parade in the mainly nationalist Ballymurphy area at around 11pm last night. Police are appealing for information.
