Charity raises €7.5m from old coins

A campaign to collect old and foreign coins after the euro changeover has raised more than €7.5m for charity.

Pennies from Heaven, one of the largest fund-raising schemes ever run in the Republic, collected cash made up mostly of the outdated punt.
