Fishermen told to stop fishing certain species

Ireland's fishermen have been ordered to stop fishing for certain species from tomorrow because they have reached their catch quota.

However their foreign colleagues will be able to continue catching the same species in Irish waters because they have larger quotas.

The order comes as fishing organisations prepare to meet in Dublin to launch a campaign to safeguard the industry.
