Employee shot in Limerick robbery

A fast food employee has been shot during an armed raid on a take-away in Limerick overnight.

A customer at the premises in Clare St in Limerick city fired a sawn off shotgun during the raid.

He injured one employee before escaping.

Gardai are seeking information on the robbery.

The injured employee is being treated in hospital.
