Protestors out in force at Shannon Airport

Protestors were out in force this afternoon in Shannon with more than 250 people rallying against the use of the town's airport by the US military.

Many different units of the Gardai were on full alert in case of trouble - including the dog unit, the public order unit and a helicopter unit.
