Portlaoise nurses decide on work to rule

Nursing staff at Portlaoise General Hospital's A&E department have confirmed that they will begin a work to rule at 9am tomorrow morning.

They said their decision was forced on them by the failure of the Midlands Health Board to deal with their concerns over noise and dust levels during reconstruction work at the hospital.
