Brennan says funding delay won't hit Luas
The Minister for Transport Seamus Brennan has denied claims the construction of the Luas rail project will be delayed because of money problems.
Speaking to the media this afternoon, Minister Seamas Brennan insisted that reports about delays in the project because of delays in Government investment were 'erroneous'.
He said that if there were delays, they would not be because of funding.
It is understood that the Luas system servicing Dublin will be in place by 2004.
