More than €300m of old Irish money is still being hoarded by members of the public.

More than €300m of old Irish money is still being hoarded by members of the public.

The Central Bank has said that as many as 100 people a day are still cashing in old notes and coins.

Those with old currency have been advised to convert the money to euro before the end of the year, after which currency exchange will not be possible.
