Six treated for gas poisoning at Galway nightclub

A number of people have been treated at a hospital in Galway for suspected noxious gas poisoning.

They were evacuated from the Venue nightclub in Eyre Square at around 1am today, complaining of a burning sensation to the eyes, nose and throat. Others had vomited.
