Israel has been accused of delaying an ambulance called to bring an injured British UN worker to hospital.

Ian Hook died from his injuries after he was hit by crossfire in a gun battle between Israeli troops and Palestinians at a Jenin refugee camp.

Irish peace activist Caoimhe Butterly, from Cork, was later shot in the leg in the same area by Israeli forces.

Ms Butterly, who was hit when trying to move children out of the firing line, is recovering from her injuries in hospital.
