The suspension of the Stormont Assembly and Executive is hitting Northern Ireland hard, nationalist SDLP leader Mark Durkan warned tonight.

As the North's political parties prepared to resume talks next week aimed at restoring devolution, Mr Durkan claimed that “five weeks into suspension 120 schools are threatened with the loss of funding for vital cross community work” which they would have got under devolution.
