The Eastern Regional Health Authority and the Irish Medicines Board has warned parents against the use of unlicensed single vaccines for measles and mumps.

The two bodies said they are particularly concerned about Pavivac and Movivac, single-dose vaccines which have been imported into the country by a number of parents.
