TDs approve Book of Estimates in Dail vote

The Dail has voted in favour of Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy's controversial Book of Estimates by 79 votes to 61.

All of the Fianna Fail backbenchers who criticised the abolition of the first-time buyers' grant sided with the Government in tonight's vote.
