FG announces nationwide 'Give it Back' campaign

Fine Gael has announced a nationwide petition campaign for the restoration of the first time buyers’ grant.

Party leader Enda Kenny told a meeting of Young Fine Gael in UCD that the Government must either restore the grant immediately, or agree to implement Fine Gael’s proposal to double mortgage-interest relief to first time buyers, for the first five years of their loan.
