Ireland prepared for terrorist attack: report

A confidential report presented to the Government has insisted that the best possible arrangements are in place to protect the Irish people in the event of a terrorist attack.

The report was ordered following last year's 9/11 attack on the United States and examined Ireland's preparedness in the event of such an attack.
