The Labour party has tabled a Dail motion condemning the Government's decision to abolish the first-time buyers grant. The party is to call for the re-instatement of the scheme.

Labour spokesperson on the environment, Eamon Gilmore, says the motion will give disgruntled Fianna Fail back-benchers an opportunity to express their dissatisfaction over the scheme's demise.
