Irish priest killed in Jo'burg
An Irish priest has been shot dead in South Africa.
The dead man was named in Dublin tonight as Father Declan Collins, a member of the Salesian Order of the priesthood.
He is understood to have been shot last night by intruders at his home in Johannesburg.
Father Collins, who was originally from Drogheda, Co Louth, had been working on projects with under-privileged young people in Cape Town.
