Minister urged to stop Luas works

Minister for Transport Seamas Brennan was today urged to stop all Luas works in Dublin.

Fine Gael Senator Brian Hayes says that Christmas is the busiest time of the year in Dublin for traffic and that gridlock has already set in on the streets because of roadworks.

Mr Hayes insists the Minister must open up all toll bridges to ease congestion in the city centre until the Christmas period is over.
