UUP to meet prison officers over safety concerns

A delegation from the Ulster Unionist Party is due to meet with the North’s Prison Officers Association this week to discuss the union’s concerns about the safety of its members.

The police have warned around 1,400 prison officers that their personal details were found during raids in republican areas last month, but the POA is concerned about claims that the police knew of the existence of the list four months ago.
