Queen to outline further PSNI reform

The Queen is expected to outline further amendments to policing legislation governing the North of Ireland when she opens the parliamentary year in London later today.

The amendments are aimed at bringing the current legislation more into line with the recommendations of the Patten Report, one of the central aspects of the Good Friday Agreement.
