Engineers warn road delays will spell disaster

Consulting engineers have warned that further planning and design delays to key roads in the National Development Plan will have disastrous consequences for the economy.

The Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland said that the current delays to roads, which were expected to have been finished in 2006, will put them back by a decade or more.
