Nutty gets top job with Greens
One of Ireland's leading business consultants and horticultural experts has been appointed the Green Party's first general secretary.
Stiofan Nutty, known also for his involvement in the recent election success of the Greens, says he is happy and humbled to have been given the position.
He will take up the appointment on January 1 and one of his first jobs will be to oversee and organise the party for local elections in 2004.
Mr Nutty has been involved with the Green Party for more than a decade.
