Mother escapes blaze in Co Louth

The mother of a young family is the only person to have survived a tragic house fire in Co Louth this morning in which two young sisters died along with their father.

A team from the Garda Technical Bureau is due at the scene in Dundalk shortly.

The mother of the children who escaped the blaze is receiving treatment in hospital.
