Men charged with membership of IRA

Two Limerick men were today charged with membership of the IRA and possession of ammunition and explosives.

Two Limerick men were today charged with membership of the IRA and possession of ammunition and explosives.

James Bullman, 38, and Christopher Dinneen, 49, appeared in Dublin’s Special Criminal Court following their arrests on Wednesday.

Both were charged with belonging to an illegal organisation styling itself as the IRA, possession of ammunition and semtex.

Christopher Dinneen was also charged with possession of an assault rifle.

They were remanded in custody to appear again at the court on Wednesday.
