The alleged leader of the Real IRA in Munster was caught "red handed" in a bomb factory, a senior garda officer told the Special Criminal Court today.

Two Limerick men were today charged with membership of the IRA and possession of ammunition and explosives.

Two men have been charged with membership of the IRA and possession of semtex and ammunition at the Special Criminal Court today. One of the men was also charged with possession of an assault rifle at his home in Limerick.
