Man due in court on false imprisonment charge

A man is due in court this morning on charges of false imprisonment after another man was found bound and gagged in the boot of a car in Dublin.

A 26-year-old Dublin man will appear Dublin District Court this morning charged with false imprisonment.

Gardaí at the Divisional Task Force at Santry stopped and searched a car on Glasnevin Avenue in Ballymun at 8pm last night when they discovered a man bound and gagged in the boot of a car.
