Revenue responds to Ombudsman's criticism

The Revenue Commissioners have this afternoon defended their actions following a stinging attack from the Ombudsman Kevin Murphy.

In a report presented to the Oireachtas, Mr Murphy accused the Revenue of failing to pay compensation to 12 individuals due to delays in their tax rebates.
