Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams and Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble are meeting in Stormont this afternoon to discuss ways to overcome the current crisis in the Irish peace process.

Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams and Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble are meeting in Stormont this afternoon to discuss ways to overcome the current crisis in the Irish peace process.

Sinn Fein has said it will be pressing Mr Trimble for evidence of his intent to support the political process and the institutions established under the Good Friday Agreement.
