A three-man gang has escaped with around €3,000 in cash after an armed raid on a Dublin pub this afternoon.

A three-man gang has escaped with around €3,000 in cash after an armed raid on a Dublin pub this afternoon.

The gang were wearing boiler suits and balaclavas and one is believed to have brandished a machine-gun during the hold-up of a security van at the Excise Bar in the International Financial Services Centre.

No shots were fired and nobody was injured during the raid.
