Govt faces questioning over newspaper allegations

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, will face a barrage of demands for disclosure over allegations, published yesterday in the Sunday Business Post, that his Government held secret talks with the Real IRA.

The newspaper reported that advisor to Mr Ahern, Martin Mansergh, organised the talks just three weeks after the Omagh bombing.
