Drivers who disobey the motoring laws will have to take their driving test again before they are allowed back onto the road.

In a report in this morning's Sunday Independent, the Minister for Transport Seamus Brennan confirmed a "two strikes and you're out" clause to the penalty points system that came into force last week.
