AA: enforce new system fairly

The AA has urged gardai to enforce the penalty points system for motorists with sensitivity and not to catch people just for the sake of it.

The association said officers should focus on offences committed in known accident blackspots and be lenient in areas where sign-posting is poor or where the speed limit is unclear.
