Wexford ambulance crews will not pass SIPTU picket

Ambulance crews in Co Wexford have told the South Eastern Health Board that they will not pass a SIPTU picket on a nursing home unless there is a genuine emergency.

The union is involved in an industrial dispute at the Spring Valley nursing home in Enniscorthy.

SIPTU has welcomed the move by the ambulance crews and is calling for immediate talks to settle the row.
