Gardaí name Meath accident victim

Gardaí have released the name of the man who was killed in a road accident in Co Meath last night.

He was 23-year-old Gerard Bannon from Drumree in Co Meath. The accident happened shortly before midnight on the Trim to Athboy road.

The deceased was a front seat passenger in one of the vehicles involved in a collision.
