Rabbitte criticises Fianna Fail proposals

Labour Party leader Pat Rabbitte has strongly criticised proposals from the Fianna Fail/PD Government to substantially raise the cap on corporate donations to political parties.

Mr Rabbitte said: "I find it extraordinary that within weeks of the publication of the Interim Report of the Flood Tribunal, the Government should now be actually trying to provide for even greater funding for their own parties from the corporate sector."
