Man's body found in Drogheda

Gardai in Drogheda, Co Louth, are investigating the death of a man in his 20s whose body was found in the town last night.

The body was discovered in a rented house on Francis Street shortly before 10pm.

Gardai said there were signs of at least one small fire in the house and they are treating the death as suspicious.

The scene has been preserved and a post mortem will be carried out later today.
