Rabbitte and McManus lead the Labour Party

Pat Rabbitte is the newly elected leader of the Labour Party.

Liz McManus, the Wicklow TD and Labour Spokesperson for Health, was voted in as Deputy Leader of the Labour Party last night.

Mr Rabbitte says he will now pour all his energy into making life as difficult as possible for the coalition. He says his objective now is to replace the Government.
