Meat producers won't talk until pickets end

The AIBP meat processing firm has said it will not enter talks with the Irish Farmers Association until it lifts pickets from all meat factories.

In a statement issued today, the company said farmers picketing its plant in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, are disrupting normal business.
