FG hit out at tribunal lawyer pay increases

Fine Gael Justice spokesman John Deasy said the Government must justify why tribunal lawyers are getting an extra €800 a day, to public servants who have been told to tighten their belts.

"Fairness is an elementary part of any good Government. Workers are entitled to an explanation as to why the daily increase given to lawyers is more than the vast majority of public servants earn in a week," said Deputy Deasy.
