Longford/Roscommon and Galway East endorse Nice

Longford/Roscommon and Galway East constituencies are the latest to declare results in the Nice Treaty referendum.

Reflecting an emerging nationwide trend, both constituencies voted in favour of the Treaty by a wide margin.

In Longford/Roscommon, the breakdown was 62% in favour of Nice, with 38% voting 'No'.

In Galway East, it was a similar story - 65% voted 'Yes', with 35% against.
