Labour calls for extension of clerical sex abuse inquiry

The Labour Party has urged the Government to extend the inquiry into clerical child sex abuse in Co Wexford following last night's "Cardinal Sins" TV documentary.

The programme detailed crimes committed by eight paedophile priests in Dublin and accused Cardinal Desmond Connell of covering up for offenders by failing to pass on information to the Gardai.
