Three women injured in Dublin post office raid

Three women have been taken to hospital after an attempted raid on a Dublin post office.

A female staff member was locking up the premises at Brighton Road, Foxrock, at lunchtime when she was approached by two men who sprayed her with pepper spray.

Two women who came to her assistance also suffered the effects of the spray and all three were taken to hospital.

The raiders escaped empty handed in a navy Volvo car.
