Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh has told the Dail that the Government is committed to giving statutory power to the inquiry into the retention of children's organs by Irish hospitals.

Mr Walsh, who was taking questions on behalf of the Taoiseach, said Health Minister Micheal Martin wants to consult with the Parents for Justice pressure group to agree on how to give the Dunne Inquiry statutory powers.
