73% response to breast cancer screening programme

A report revealing that more than 45,000 Irish women took part in a breast cancer screening programme in its first 22 months was today welcomed by the Minister for Health and Children.

Micheal Martin was speaking at the launch in Dublin of the annual report of BreastCheck, Ireland’s national breast screening programme.
