Poll predicts 'Yes' vote in Nice referendum

An opinion poll published this morning has predicted a probable 'Yes' vote in the re-run of the Nice Treaty referendum this Saturday.

However, the poll in the Star newspaper also showed that 31% of respondents, enough to swing the vote, were still undecided.

39% of respondents said they would vote 'Yes' in the referendum, with 22% saying they would vote 'No'.

A total of 1,101 people were questioned in the poll at 100 locations around Ireland last weekend.
